Description

Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is an under construction temple at Vrindavan, India. As planned, it would be the tallest religious monument in the world. At its potential cost of ₹300 crore, it is likely to be one of the most expensive temples in world. The temple's design has been planned by ISKCON Bangalore. The plan includes the temple rising to a height of about 700 feet (213 meters or 70 floors) and a built-up area of 540,000 sq. ft. The project would cover 62 acres of land and includes 12 acres for parking and a helipad.

वृंदावन चंद्रोदय मंदिर भारत में एक निर्माणाधीन मंदिर है। योजना के अनुसार यह दुनिया का सबसे लंबा धार्मिक स्मारक होगा। ₹300 करोड़ की संभावित लागत पर इस मंदिर की दुनिया के सबसे महंगे मंदिरों में से एक होने की संभावना है। मंदिर की योजना इस्कॉन बैंगलोर द्वारा बनाई गई है। योजना के अनुसार मंदिर की ऊँचाई लगभग 700 फीट (213 मीटर या 70 मंजिल) होगी और 540,000 वर्ग फुट का निर्मित क्षेत्र होगा। यह परियोजना 62 एकड़ भूमि में स्थापित है और इसमें पार्किंग और हेलिपैड के लिए 12 एकड़ जमीन भी शामिल है।

Temple Story

In 1972, Srila Prabhupada, the founder and Acharya of ISKCON spoke about the principle of Yukta Vairāgya right in front of the Bhajan Kutir(a simple and austere dwelling of an ascetic primarily intended to perform his spiritual activities like chanting Krishna's names, writing and teaching) of Sri Rupa Goswami to his dozen or more western disciples who were accompanying him on a visit to Vrindavan, India. Inspired by this vision of Srila Prabhupada, the devotees of ISKCON Bangalore or the ritviks conceived the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir project to build a skyscraper temple for Lord Sri Krishna.The foundation stone laying ceremony of Chandrodaya temple in Mathura district was done on 16 March 2014, on the eve of the auspicious occasion of Holi

१९७२ में इस्कॉन की संस्थापक और आचार्य श्रील प्रभुपाद ने श्री रूप गोस्वामी के भजन कुटीर के ठीक सामने अपने दर्जनों अधिक पश्चिमी शिष्यों के साथ युक्ता वैराग्य के सिद्धांत के बारे में बात की । श्रील प्रभुपाद के इस दृष्टिकोण से प्रेरित होकर, इस्कॉन बैंगलोर के भक्तों या ऋषियों ने भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के लिए एक गगनचुंबी मंदिर का निर्माण करने के लिए वृंदावन चंद्रोदय मंदिर परियोजना की कल्पना की। मथुरा जिले में चंद्रोदय मंदिर का शिलान्यास समारोह 16 मार्च 2014 को होली के शुभ अवसर पर किया गया था।
