Vaikuntha Ekadashi is celebrated on the Ekadashi tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of "Pausha" according to the Hindu Calendar. It is also known as Putrada Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this day. It is believed that by observing a fast and participating in Puja on this Ekadashi, childless couples are blessed with a child. Devotees observing the Vaikuntha Ekadashi fast and participating in Shri Vishnu Lakshmi Puja are also believed to attain moksha in Vaikunth Dham, the abode of Lord Vishnu.

As per Hindu mythology, Putrada Ekadashi has special significance for childless couples who want to have a child. It is believed that people observing the Pausha Putrada Ekadashi fast with full rituals and reverence, are definitely blessed with child happiness. Apart from this, observing this fast and participating in the worship helps in overcoming all past sins and attaining salvation.

Ramcharit Manas is a divine epic composed by Tulsidas. The book is a symbol of love and dedication towards Lord Ram. According to religious belief, anyone having problems or obstacles in success or in life can get their desired results by reciting or listening to Ramcharitmanas with full devotion. It provides peace and happiness to an individual. It's also believed that reciting it regularly can help in attaining salvation.

Lord Vishnu can be worshipped through many verses, but the Vishnu Sahasranama is considered to be the most influential. Vishnu Sahasranama is dedicated to 1000 names of Shri Vishnu. Chanting Vishnu Sahasranama can help in removing various curses and misfortunes. Lord Vishnu has been called the protector of life and the universe. It is believed that Lord Vishnu sustains various forms of life on earth.

नमो स्तवन अनंताय सहस्त्र मूर्तये, सहस्त्रपादाक्षि शिरोरु बाहवे।

सहस्त्र नाम्ने पुरुषाय शाश्वते, सहस्त्रकोटि युग धारिणे नमः।।

Vishnu Sahasranama also helps in the resolution of Horoscope Doshas. By chanting it regularly, happiness and peace is said to sustain in the house. By chanting and listening to it, all sins and fears of an individual are removed.

Panchamrit is said to be the most favourite bhog of Shri Lakshmi Narayan. Panchamrit has special significance in the worship of Lord Vishnu. Without this Shri Hari or his incarnations cannot be worshipped. By offering Panchamrit in Shri Lakshmi Narayan Puja, the supreme blessings of Lord Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi are obtained. There are five special things required to make Panchamrit. These 5 things are as follows: milk, curd, ghee, sugar and honey.

Offering Bhog to any deity or Goddess holds great significance in Hindu worship. Worship of any God or Goddess is considered incomplete without offering Bhog. Lord Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi like Panchamrit and Halwa. So by offering Panchamrit and Halwa while worshiping them, the supreme grace of Shri Lakshmi Narayan is obtained. This brings happiness, wealth and prosperity in the house of the devotees.

According to the scriptures, Shri Lakshmi Narayan likes yellow clothes. Offering clothes or 'Vastra'  to Shri Lakshmi Narayan brings long life, health, prosperity and success in business. Devotees also offer 'Vastra' or clothes to seek the divine blessings of Lord Vishnu and to get their wishes fulfilled.

According to Hindu traditions, there's a ritual of offering Kheer and Puri to Lord Ram and Maa Sita after reciting the Ramcharitmanas. Then the same Kheer and Puri are distributed among the devotees as Prasad. This ritual is believed to please Lord Ram and Maa Sita to shower their divine blessings on the devotees. Also, offering kheer made from cow's milk is believed to remove various obstacles that come in a couple's marriage.

As per religious beliefs, it is considered auspicious to offer yellow clothes to Lord Ram and red clothes to Maa Sita. It is said that married couples can spend a happy married life without any problems by offering clothes to Lord Ram and Maa Sita.

Brahman Bhojan is a ritual performed for the departed souls of ancestors. Brahman bhoj is done to satisfy the desires of the souls of our ancestors and let them rest in peace. Brahman Bhoj rituals help cleanse all the sins of our forefathers and help  their souls to attain moksha. Also, the one who performs this ritual is said to earn good karma and is liberated from bad Karmas of past and present life.



On the auspicious occasion of Ekadashi, offering Bhojan and Dakshina to Brahman is believed to absolve individuals from all sins. It is also believed that unless a Brahman prays to God through the chanting of Mantras, God cannot come and attend the puja rituals. Therefore,  Brahman Bhoj is considered essential for the Puja in Hindu Dharma.

Panch Meva is a combination of five dry fruits. Panch Meva is related to 5 elements in the universe, namely Water, Fire, Earth, Sky and Wind. Panch Meva Prasad mainly includes almond, raisins, dry coconut, makhana and dry dates. In addition to spiritual benefits, the Prasad has health benefits for the devotees.
